Engedi Salon's stringent hiring practices ensure our professional stylists are capable of providing you with the level of service you desire. We believe that our success is tied to the success of our stylists and their success results from possessing the skills, personalities and attitudes needed to exceed our customer's expectations. Our stylists are required to participate in Aveda's continuing education program because we believe that expertise is a journey and not a destination.
Jenny has been in Holland's salon industry for 20+ years. She finds sincere joy in building up a team who encourage and support one another and the work they do daily. She finds value in not only learning but teaching her specialized cutting and coloring techniques to her team. She is inspired by the beauty and good of everyday life and in her strong faith in God. This is reflected in what has become the core values of Engedi to help others Look, Feel, and Do Good. Outside the salon, Jenny can be found spending time with her family and friends, typically poolside or enjoying the beautiful State of Michigan.
Jana loves Aveda and uses it all! Offering a potential change in hairstyle, haircut, and/or color is important to her and she is dedicated to making sure clients leave completely happy. Jana makes every day count and is passionate about running, exercising, and eating right.

Lauren is a fun-loving, lifelong learner who has been with Engedi Salon for over 10 years. She takes great pride in her women’s haircuts and in the meaningful relationships she builds with clients behind the chair. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family. On her days off, you can often find her running through downtown Zeeland or tackling home projects with her husband.
Kelli is a native of Holland who loves the creativity she gets from styling her guest’s hair in order to enhance their natural beauty and individual style. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and reading with a good cup of coffee in hand! Family is her number one hobby as she and her husband are blessed with two adorable children who they love spending time with.

Mikayla fell in love with the beauty industry at a very young age and has never looked back! Her passion is creating innovative looks for each of her guests that involve today's hottest trends and styles. Mikayla finds so much joy in using her gifts to make people feel refreshed and beautiful. Outside of the salon, she loves all things fashion and spending quality time with friends and family outdoors and at the lake.
Sami has been a stylist for over 10 years and loves nothing more than seeing her guests walk out the door looking and feeling fabulous. She delivers perfection in all services, but her passion lies in giving women a fantastic blowout that will leave them feeling good for days. A native of Holland, her and her husband enjoy spending time at the beach or camping with their 2 young boys in their free time.
Julie has been working with Aveda for over 13 years! As an educator and stylist, she has a deep knowledge of the foundations needed to deliver a customized service from start to finish. Julie's passion is working closely with each guest to make them feel and look their absolute best! Family is everything to her as she and her husband love raising their beautiful 4 year old and enjoying all the summer and winter fun that West Michigan has to offer.
Courtney chose Aveda because she loves what it stands for and their focus on natural ingredients! Her passion behind the chair is to work with guests who have curly hair like herself, and also to create beautiful up styles and braids. Enhancing someone's natural beauty is what Courtney strives to do! Outside of Engedi, she enjoys being active and focusing on overall fitness and wellness with her husband.
Amy is a creative stylist who is passionate about all things blonde and all things Aveda. For her the journey of a complete transformation is extremely fun to be part of. She loves helping her guests feel like their best, most confident selves because she believes confident women are beautiful women! Amy is a Holland native and enjoys Lake Michigan, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
AJ is a spunky, outgoing, sunshine loving girl! AJ stives to see the good in everything. She loves working with color and educates herself on the latest tricks and trends. Outside of the salon, you can find AJ near Lake MI when the weather is right.
In her 10 years with Aveda, Aly has always enjoyed texture cutting and dimensional color. However, Aly’s personal favorite service is color transformations. You can usually find Aly experimenting with a different color on herself! As an Aveda Educator, Aly is passionate about helping you achieve your desired hair as well as maintaining hair health. In her spare time, Aly works on stained glass projects and spends time with her family and rescue dogs.
From a young age, Brea knew she belonged behind the chair. Brea grew up watching her mom do hair and is so grateful that she’s blessed with her creative talent! Brea loves all hair transformations from big to small, anything to help her clients feel confident in themselves. Color transformations are one of her favorites! Outside of the salon, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and being a part of the family farm!
From the moment her clients sit in her chair Rae strives for moments of connection and trust throughout the entirety of the service. Whether it's a full color service or a routine haircut, Rae wants her clients to leave feeling increasingly confident in themselves and in who they are out in the world. When Rae is not working, she is most likely with her family or outside being active.
Molly takes pride in going the extra step to ensure her clients feel comfortable and confident. Molly’s goal is to create a safe space for all of her guests. She has dreamed of becoming a stylist since she was a little girl and is thrilled to be pursuing her passion. Outside of work, you will find Molly at the dog park giving a little extra love to all the dogs she meets or on an adventure, hiking a new trail.
Maya's love for being creative and bringing others joy brought her into this industry. She loves seeing the confidence and fulfillment that her guests receive after sitting in her chair. Maya enjoys all things blonde! She loves providing a good blowout and feels it's the perfect finishing touch to any haircut or color service. It's no secret that Maya is a huge Taylor Swift fan! She loves being social and spends a lot of time with her friends, family, and being a middle school youth group leader.
Kate loves helping her guests feel confident! She enjoys expressing her creativity through foiling and loves giving her guests a customized color. Kate chose to work in the beauty industry because she finds joy in providing others with confidence while highlighting their natural beauty. Outside of work you can find her staying active while running, snowboarding, or hanging out with her twin!

I've loved doing hair ever since I was little, and I've always known I wanted to make it my career. There's nothing more rewarding than helping people feel beautiful, and I truly enjoy being creative with each client. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s on the water during the summer or on the slopes in the winter. I was also a gymnast and coached gymnastics part-time, which fueled my passion for working with kids. Traveling is another one of my favorite hobbies!
